Richmond, Va. (Nov. 9, 2010) – Christian Munson, CRT/tanaka associate vice president, has been honored as one of Style Weekly’s “2010 Top 40 Under 40” for his professional achievements and commitment to the Richmond community.
Munson leads some of CRT/tanaka’s largest and longest-standing accounts, including Longwood University and global travel technology provider Amadeus, in addition to local clients such as Sands Anderson law firm and the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM).
Style Weekly isn’t the only one to notice his achievements. Munson’s work with Longwood University received national honors in 2007 with a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Additionally, Munson was CRT/tanaka’s inaugural recipient of the annual whatcanbe Awards, a company awards program recognizing employees for their outstanding contribution to their clients, the agency or the community. Munson was recognized in the client category.
The “Top 40 Under 40” honor also recognized Munson for his community service efforts, He serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Richmond and the Tri-Cities and volunteering with the YMCA’s “Bright Beginnings” program. He is active in his Midlothian community as a member of the PTA and coach of his nine year-old daughter’s basketball team through the local Upward program.
