CRT/tanaka Announces Two Promotions and Four New Hires

Individual Contributions Fuel Business Growth

Richmond, Va., (August 13, 2007) – CRT/tanaka, an award-winning public relations and marketing firm known for creative solutions and workplace culture, has promoted two staff members in its Richmond office and hired four new employees in three offices.

  • Christian Munson has been promoted to account supervisor in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. Munson supervises client account teams and project team members for several clients, including Longwood University, Amadeus North America and SRI International. Munson’s work for Longwood University has been honored with numerous local and national awards including a 2007 Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.
  • Travis Parrish has been promoted to account supervisor in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. Parrish is responsible for overseeing and providing day-to-day management of project team members and client counsel to ITT Corporation, while also providing Homeland Security expertise to Waubridge Specialty Fabrics/Kovenex.
  • Jessica Ben-Ari has been hired as an account executive in CRT/tanaka’s New York office. Ben-Ari provides media relations and strategic counsel to Wines from Rioja, (Spain), AR+COOK, Taylor/Salter and MAGIC International. Ben-Ari began her full-time career at Goldstein Communications where she worked on fine jewelry and luxury fashion accounts such as Platinum Guild International, Phoenix Rising handbags and Catherine Angiel. She also was a founding member of the Meat Packing District Initiative – a PR organization of local businesses and nightlife created to attract attention to this Manhattan neighborhood.
  • Joe Horvath has been hired as an account executive in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. Horvath primarily supports Waubridge Specialty Fabrics/Kovenex, ITT Corporation and the Better Business Bureau. Prior to joining CRT/tanaka, he worked as a public relations account executive at Moroch and as an account executive at Charles Ryan Associates.
  • Sarah Miller-Reeves has been hired as an account executive in CRT/tanaka’s Los Angeles office. Miller-Reeves provides account support for MAGIC International, VHA Inc., SAGE and Target Stores. Previously, she was an account manager for a boutique public relations firm that catered to the interior design industry. She also has worked as a public relations associate for Holy Angels School in Dayton, Ohio and interned for ABC-7/Chicago.
  • Lindsay Grant has been hired as an assistant account executive in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. She works on the Virginia Racing Commission, Sprint and Performance Food Group accounts. Prior to joining CRT/tanaka, Grant worked as public relations and marketing coordinator at RightMinds, a Richmond-based advertising agency. At RightMinds, she worked on media relations, community relations and event planning projects.
