CRT/tanaka Announces Two Promotions and Three New Hires
Individual Contributions Fuel Business Growth
Richmond, Va. and New York, (August 21, 2007) – CRT/tanaka, an award-winning public relations and marketing firm known for creative solutions and workplace culture, has promoted two staff members and hired three new employees in its Richmond and New York offices.
- Lisa Harris has been promoted to senior account executive in CRT/tanaka’s New York office where she provides full service public relations counsel to such clients as Girl Scouts of the USA, Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. and Charles Schwab & Co. Harris previously served as an account executive in CRT/tanaka’s New York office.
- Nijha Diggs has been promoted to assistant account executive in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. Diggs provides account service support to clients in the pharmaceutical arena, as well as other clients including Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. Diggs previously served as an account coordinator in CRT/tanaka’s New York and Richmond offices.
- John Hopkins has been hired as senior new media designer in CRT/tanaka’s Richmond office. Hopkins will be responsible for creating and implementing the agency’s Internet-based initiatives. Previously, he worked as a Web developer with the Virginia Department of Transportation where he was part of a team tasked to make the agency’s Web site standards compliant and accessible. Hopkins also taught multimedia and video game design at ITT Tech, where he was the youngest department chair and received the Teacher of the Year Award for the Eastern District in 2006.
- Erin Schaal has been hired as an assistant account executive in CRT/tanaka’s New York office. Schaal will provide account support and media relations to Atkins Nutritionals, Inc., HoMedics and the Council for Responsible Nutrition. Prior to joining CRT/tanaka, Erin worked as an assistant at Rubenstein Communications, Inc.
- Kendyl Wright has been hired as an assistant account executive in CRT/tanaka’s New York office. Wright will provide support for the Target, Discovery Channel Stores, De’Longhi and Wines from Rioja (Spain) teams. Prior to joining CRT/tanaka, Kendyl worked at Burson-Marsteller, providing trade media relations for Hewlett Packard. She also worked in community relations for Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, La.
