CRT/tanaka Acquires Richmond-Based Oliver Creative Web Design & Development Firm

Acquisition Enhances CRT/tanaka’s Interactive and Creative Design Capabilities

Richmond Va, (December 10, 2007) – CRT/tanaka, one of the country’s leading independent, mid-size public relations firms – with offices in Richmond, New York, Los Angeles and Norfolk – today announced the acquisition of Oliver Creative, a Richmond-based Web design and development firm.

The acquisition is part of the agency’s strategy to build CRT/tanaka Interactive, a national interactive and creative design practice.

“Increasingly, CRT/tanaka is developing integrated marketing communications programs for our clients, which combine traditional public relations tactics with Web design, viral and social marketing and other interactive capabilities. The acquisition of Oliver Creative is about adding value for our clients,” said Mark Raper, CRT/tanaka chairman and CEO. “We have worked with dozens of interactive firms. Oliver Creative offers a superior product, and the perfect mix of creative talent and innovative thinking to add to our existing interactive and design capabilities.”

Kyra Oliver, president of Oliver Creative, will join CRT/tanaka as vice president. She will oversee the CRT/tanaka Interactive practice. Al Davis, CRT/tanaka vice president-creative design, will continue to oversee the print design functions within the practice.
