CRT/tanaka’s Buzz Bin Named One of the “50 Best Social Media Blogs in the World” for 2010

More accolates continue to pour in for CRT/tanaka’s The Buzz Bin blog. This time, it’s been named one of the “50 Best Social Media and Technology Blogs in the World” for 2010 by the team at SimplyZesty out of Ireleand and the U.K. SimplyZesty focuses on online PR and social media.

The Entrepreneur Blog came out with it’s list today of the Top 50 Social Media Blogs of 2010, and CRT/tanaka’s Buzz Bin blog made the list at 38! The Entrepreneur Blog, written by Evan Carmichael, had this to say about CRT/tanaka:

“The Buzz Bin provides a point of view on integrated communications, including PR, social media, interactive and general marketing topics. Topics range from strategy and tactics to news commentary and trend analysis. It’s not about being safe, it’s about pushing the envelope, thinking and, hopefully, learning.”

CRT/tanaka offers social media advice in the Los Angeles Times

Two CRT/tanaka social media team members — Rosalie Morton and Priya Ramesh — are featured in the Los Angeles Times offering advice to an ecclectic, boutique hotel in Venice Beach, Calif., called the Venice Beach Suites & Hotel.

They are featured in “Business Makeover,” a column written by Cyndia Zwahlen, which focuses on challenges facing small business owners.

The owner thought social media would be a great way to promote the hotel to travelers who would appreciate what the funky,  little hotel had to offer. More importantly, the owner wanted to manage expectations. While some travelers found the hotel charming, others thought it was a little too funky.

Check out CRT/tanaka’s nice mention in Richmond BizSense for our whatcanbe Award. The article commends the award, which recognizes three employees each for using whatcanbe thinking to create a bigger, brighter, better future for either our clients, the agency or the community. CRT/tanaka hired by Del Monte from the Richmond Times-Dispatch

CRT/tanaka is getting into the bsuiness of hawking bananas.

The Richmond-based marketing firm has been hired by Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc., charged with promotion the nutritional and dietary benefits of the fruit.
