Internships
Ready to dig in and get your hands dirty? This is your chance to experience the public relations industry first-hand. If you’re hoping for an easy, 9-5 routine, you’d probably be better off looking elsewhere (and finding a different career field). But if you’re up for a challenging, exciting position where no two days are the same, keep reading.
CRT/tanaka’s internship program offers college juniors, seniors and recent graduates the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the public relations field. As an intern, you will be assigned to a specific practice area within CRT/tanaka. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: research, copywriting, brainstorming, planning, media pitching and event coordination. We make it a priority to give each intern a well-rounded experience that translates in the classroom and in the real world.
Intern candidates should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent critical thinking and writing skills, and a basic understanding of public relations and marketing. Candidates should have a natural curiosity, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude. These characteristics helped make CRT/tanaka what it is today, and it’s what will continue to make us one of the best public relations agencies in the nation.
Think this might be the place for you? CRT/tanaka offers paid internships, as well as unpaid externships, in all office locations. To apply, you will need a resume, cover letter (please include the date which you are available to begin work and the office location for which you are applying) and two or three writing samples. Successful candidates will submit materials that reflect careful thought and consideration about the knowledge and skills they have built through prior experiences, and why they are relevant.
If you are interested in one of these positions, please use the form below to send your resume, cover letter and writing samples. If you’d rather use snail mail, you can send your resume to:
