The Challenge
This highly interactive web site was created to promote Air New Zealand's non-stop flight from LA to London, while also educating the web user about their premiere products and services in a humorous and entertaining experience.

 

The Solution
Findmyflipflop.com presents the web user with a whimsical web guide, custom photography and illustration, voice over, music, flash animation and a series of engaging online vignettes. These vignettes contain fun facts about New Zealand's unique Kiwi culture and how it connects to other markets (LA and London) including history, fun facts, nature, lifestyle and play on fun slang terminology. When the web user has gone through all of the online vignettes, they also have the opportunity to enter to win a grand prize – airfare from Air New Zealand from LA to London and hotel accommodations for a week in London.

 

Results
On May 7, 2008, we had 22,000 page views since the site launched on April 6, 2008. Within that time, 10,000 people entered the sweepstakes.
