Why Design Matters

by Al Davis, VP Creative Services

You, your body, yourself,
intricately designed –
as our/a spacial system –
working together.

Intelligent creation?
Big bang?
Either way,
obviously designed –
working together.

Design implies some
intelligent putting togetherness.

Design:
the perception of you,
your company,
in life
  in the marketplace
    in the consumer’s
      mind - heart - emotions.

Good design gives –
  gives to the audience
    gives on an emotional level,
where people deem
  they receive greater
than what they are giving.

Good design is exchange
to benefit
all.

Unleashing the potential.
Unleashing the personality.
The inner being
The inner spirit
of company, of persons.

Good design
expresses and creates
expression
  within others
    within ourselves
  our company
our community.

Good design
is communication
speaking good will.

[If,
design is by intent
then, are there things done
  without intent?
Without design?

The child, before the age of self-consciousness,
in the cycle of nursing & sleep –
is there intent?
Is intent the outgrowth of self consciousness?
Is no intentions
one with all?

To have intent
  you sense self, sense separation.

Does design inherently need something other than itself?
Is that the original intention
original design –
to have something other than self?

The underlying patterns that we know
concerning the most grand
concerning the most minute
seems to have an
obvious
design
(intent).

Leaves falling on a clean trail
form a pattern,
seemingly haphazard, unplanned.
Form a design.
This happening is an expression
of the underlying design,
underlying spirit
upon which we move.]

Simply.
Design,
speaks your intention.
